The Museum houses a wealth of objects, pictures, models and paintings that illustrate Maryports proud maritime tradition. The majority of exhibits hold a unique association with Maryports maritime, social and political history. Most have been donated by townspeople and those connected with port.
Maryport Senhouse Roman Museum
Sited on cliffs overlooking the Solway Firth, this award winning museum is next to a Roman Fort probably founded in the first century AD and was rebuilt during the reign of the Emperor Hadrian.
